Common requests

Data corrections: every number here is traceable to a USCIS published release, and the release date is printed on every page. If a figure disagrees with what USCIS currently shows, include the form, office and the date you checked — releases change monthly, so the date is the discriminator. If we are wrong, we fix and say so.

Case-specific questions: we cannot look up cases, expedite anything, or advise on individual filings — no exception, by design. The wait estimator answers the general question “is my wait normal”, and USCIS's own case status tool answers “where is my case” with your receipt number.

Feature ideas: the backlog board lives in our own notes — sortable history beyond two releases, per-office inquiry-date tables, and printable summaries have all been asked for and are all plausible. Ask for what would help you; the site exists because someone found the official tables unreadable.

Before you write

If a chart looks empty or a table row says “not published,” that is the site being honest about gaps in the official release, not a rendering bug — though if it looks broken in your browser, send the browser name and page URL and we will look. We read everything and reply to most mail within a few days.
